Join the Pride Center’s Board of Directors!
The Pride Center hosts an Annual Membership Meeting to share updates with the public and allow community members to bring up important topics. It’s a great opportunity to be social, meet new people, and talk with the heart of the Pride Center to make new ideas come to life!
Members of the Pride Center are allowed to vote on AND apply to join next year’s Board! The Board is comprised of talented, passionate, and welcoming people who dedicate their time to keeping the spirit of Pride alive.
Board member applications are due Sunday, December 7 at 5 pm before our Annual Membership Meeting. Don’t wait to submit your application!
The Board of Directors is comprised of multiple committees including Advocacy, Technology, Volunteering, Professional Development, Communications, and so much more! We’ve got a spot for everyone interested in making a difference.
Board Members currently meet on the second Tuesday of every month at the Pride Center for our Board Meetings to discuss any events, updates, and plans for the community. Board meetings are also open to the public, so feel free to stop by and join the converstaion!
All Board Members are expected to contribute to the planning of the annual Pride Festival that takes place every Fall. The Pride Festival is our biggest event of the year, so we need all hands on deck in order to make each year’s festival bigger and better than the last!
