Welcome to the Audre Lorde Memorial Library

The Audre Lorde Memorial Library is dedicated in honor of Audre Lorde (1934โ€“1992) โ€” Black lesbian poet, feminist, and activist. Lordeโ€™s fearless advocacy for social justice, her celebration of difference, and her insistence on living authentically continue to inspire our work at the Pride Community Center. This library reflects her belief that knowledge, community, and self-expression are powerful tools for liberation.
