The Heart of Gainesville Pride
Help Get Us a Home!
Help Get Us a Home!
The Pride Center must find a new home in Gainesville and we need your help to make it happen!
PCCNCF has been a safe haven in Gainesville for the past quarter of a century—and we look good for our age!—sadly, the time has come for us to leave our current location.
We are eternally grateful to the Gainesville Community Counseling Center for having graciously invited us into their home and promoting a space of inclusivity, acceptance, culture, and love in the city. As time passes, things change, and the folks of GCCC are moving on to bigger pastures—we thank them for their support and wish them best on their journey.
As a result, the Pride Community Center of North Central Florida must vacate our current location by April 30. Our Board of Directors has been working with many local offices, specialists, and experts to find a location and secure the funding needed to get a new space.
The Pride Center is asking anyone and everyone to support us in any way possible in finding an affordable and safe space to call home. People of ALL backgrounds and skillsets can help in a variety of ways:
Finding information about open office spaces
Providing financial assistance to facilitate the transition
Volunteering time and effort to transport our materials
Sharing our story with friends and family for more support
Even if you have no idea how to help, sharing our story on social media and talking about it with loved ones will make a WORLD of difference!
If you have any information about open office spaces , please contact the Pride Center or reach out to our moving team: Zach, Dex, Ashley, Cai, Shealyn, or Florida.

Special Board Meeting:
Friday, March 20 at 6 pm!!!
PCCNCF will be holding a special board meeting to discuss a potential new home for the Pride Center and how the board of directors should allocate funds.
The special meeting is on Friday, March 20 at 6 pm at the current Pride Center location. If you are interested in being part of the discussion for where the Pride Center relocates, mark your calendars and stop by!
Since 2001, in collaboration with the City of Gainesville, Visit Gainesville/Alachua County, the Gainesville Community Reinvestment Area, and countless local businesses and professional organizations, we have coordinated the Pride Festival to celebrate our identities, spirit, individuality, and queerness.
Our 2025 Pride Festival was one of the most amazing sights to see in Gainesville — families, friends, kids, parents, EVERYONE laughing, dancing, and having a great time. We at the Pride Center know that this year’s festival was the best we’ve ever put on, and it’s only going to get better and better every year!
Our Mission
The mission of the Pride Community Center of North Central Florida is to foster and enhance the well-being and visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people and people of other gender and sexual minorities, and to promote public understanding and affirmation of people of all gender expressions and sexual orientations, inclusive of race, ethnic background, nationality, economic stability, spirituality, age, and ability. Recognizing the importance of intersectionality, we work with other marginalized groups for social justice. We are committed to providing education and resources in an open and supportive environment to eliminate prejudice and discrimination in our neighborhoods and community.
